In the protection of workers, building occupants, and infrastructure, Property Management professionals have long been responsible for the significant role of overseeing the safe and effective operation of their facilities. This course is designed to provide building owner/operators and facility managers with an overview of their duties and responsibilities as supervisors as it relates to Occupational Health and Safety and the managers duties and obligations. 

Topics to be covered are due diligence, the Internal Responsibility System (IRS) and an introduction to the Provincial Occupational Health & Safety Regulations/Act. The course material has been developed to provide attendees with the necessary tools to safely manage their employees, ensure facility and worker compliance, and provide a safe work environment for all workers and visitors while maintaining continuity of operation by providing useful steps to limit undue OHS liability in the workplace.
