COURSE OVERVIEW
Coronavirus (COVID-19) has heightened the need for cleaning and disinfection of common
interior surfaces and the protection of frontline workers providing cleaning services.
The COVID-19 pandemic raises new challenges in the management and completion of
commercial cleaning within buildings. The proper cleaning, disinfection and verification of
cleanliness is an irreplaceable link in keeping businesses and facilities up and running or
preparing for re-occupancy following shut-down. A clean workspace is essential to getting back
to business while providing employees and customers a sense of safety and security.
This course is focused primarily on the latest techniques from Health Canada, the WHO, CDC
and other private organizations regarding best practices and other recognized techniques to be
used to clean and disinfect buildings where the new coronavirus (COVID-19) is suspected or
known to be present.
In addition to cleaning and disinfection, this webinar-based training will also discuss Personal
Protective Equipment (PPE) types and usage.
