Confined spaces are known to contain some of the most critical hazards in workplaces today. Failure to identify a confined space, properly assess the hazards in these spaces, and create a space-specific plan prior to entry, can lead to catastrophic loss.

This course is designed to provide employees & employers with the knowledge required to understand confined spaces so that they can be correctly identified so work can be successfully planned and carried out safely.

  • Defining a confined space / Confined Space Regulations
  • Outline the elements of a confined space program (hazard assessment, entry plan, and entry permit)
  • Identify hazards, controls, and rescue requirements
  • Control measures / Atmospheric testing
  • Overview of entry & rescue procedures
  • Personal Protective Equipment
  • Responsibilities of workplace parties
  • Required confined space documentation

Upon completion of this course each attendee will receive a certificate of completion.
