Moisture Awareness
This Course is designed for anyone involved with, working around or has the potential to be exposed to moisture damaged materials.
Who should participate? The course is designed for, but not limited to, the following personnel: building owners, operators, architects, engineers, designers, abatement removal contractors, maintenance staff, trade workers (plumbers, HVAC, electrical), health and safety representatives, consultants, estimators and specification writers.
Course Outline:
- Sources of Moisture in Buildings
(Exterior, Foundation, Interior, Plumbing, HVAC)
- General Categories of Water Contamination
- Personal Protection
(Respirators, Full Containment, Skin and Eye Protection)
- Moisture Inspection / Equipment
- Response to Water Damage
Upon completion of course each attendee will receive a certificate of completion and a wallet size certification card.
